The Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise

A state board by Ministry of Social and Family Development, National Council of Social Service, Social Enterprise Association and Tote Board. Ultimately, raiSE hopes to bring together the larger community of social enterprises, aspiring social entrepreneurs, supportive organisations and individuals through our various programmes, initiatives and events to help build a vibrant social enterprise sector.

Ministry of Social and Family Development

MSF develops the “heartware” for Singapore through our policies, community infrastructure, programmes and services. MSF’s mission is to nurture a resilient and caring society that can overcome challenges together. Previously, known as the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, the Ministry was officially restructured on 1 November 2012.

National Council of Social Service

NCSS is the umbrella body for some 450 member social service organisations in Singapore. NCSS’s mission is to provide leadership and direction in social services, to enhance the capabilities of social service organisations, and to provide strategic partnerships for social services. Since 1992, They have taken over the functions of the former Singapore Council of Social Service (SCSS) and Community Chest of Singapore
